About us

Making the invisible visible

Since 2004, the Canadian Thermography Centre has been helping people gain an understanding of what is hidden behind a building’s walls by making the invisible visible.

Our expertise is in thermography, a specialized technology that is used to detect thermal anomalies in a building without using invasive or destructive methods. Our inspections accurately detect water infiltration, heat loss and more, without opening walls, floors or roofs. Our team has specialized expertise in all thermography applications, from buildings to environmental inspections.

What is thermography?

Thermography, also known as infrared scanning, measures surface temperatures by using infrared cameras to see light that is in the heat spectrum. Images record the temperature variations of the building and help an inspector determine whether there is heat loss or water infiltration.
